The Data Scientist will be instrumental in helping us to continue our evolution into a data driven, analytical culture. This role will directly engage with key stakeholders to support analysis of increasingly complex business questions.
Responsibilities:
Build new predictive/descriptive models and evaluate current effectiveness of existing models;
Design experiments/campaigns and analyze the resulting data;
Create streaming data algorithms for pattern/event recognition, develop algorithm creation and testing methodology for cross regional users, and work with the business to establish confidence metrics for scoping algorithms;
Translate analytical results and make recommendations for improvements in the areas of application;
Identify data quality issues and drive them to resolution.
Required:
Strong critical thinker, active listener, and great communicator;
MS degree in Analytics, Statistics, or Mathematics field and 8+ years of Data Science/Analytics experience or PhD degree and 5+ years of Data Science / Algorithm development experience;
Experience translating quantitative results into clear and concise business presentations/reports for both technical and non-technical audiences;
Demonstrated ability to apply techniques as appropriate for extremely large data sets with 500+ variables (columns);
Experience with these current generation digital tools: Python, Databrix, R, Java, MS BI Tools, and Tableau.
